EARTH DAY SPECIAL: Ossining Documentary & Discussion Series: SPECIAL FRIDAY EVE EVENT! An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power (4/27 @630p)

The The Ossining Documentary & Discussion Series brings you the screening of An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth To Power. This is the follow-up to the decade old An Inconvenient Truth, and is the Al Gore film that brought climate change into the heart of popular culture. The Sequel serves to educate on Climate Science and shows just how close we are to a real energy revolution. Gore continues his tireless fight, traveling around the world training an army of climate champions and influencing international climate policy. Cameras follow him behind the scenes–in moments private and public, funny and poignant–as he pursues the empowering notion that while the stakes have never been higher, the perils of climate change can be overcome with human ingenuity and passion. Gore invites us along on an inspirational journey across the globe that delivers tools to heal our planet.
The film challenges the audience to ask themselves, ” Must we change? Can we change? Will we change?”

Join us for a Q&A Panel after the film to talk about climate science, understand what we are doing locally/regionally toward a more positive outcome, and learn about things you can do to participate.
